- About Me:
Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Mr. Robert B. Hicks, III was raised in the capitol city of Lansing where he was creatively involved with the Lansing Civic Players, a community based theater group. He later moved to Atlanta, Georgia in 1989 and became part of the Christian rap group named Diversity.
Robert Hicks is the Executive Producer of Absolute Truth Productions that is producing national Christian Talk Shows that will examine life issues that face Teens and Adults from a Biblical Perspective. Robert also started Divine Inspired Records that will put out all genres of Christian music beginning early in 2010.
Robert is a dedicated member of New Life Church located in Lithonia. His most important work is in the ministry. He teaches the New Member Ministry classes and he is involved with the Unmarried Ministry, the Young Adult Ministry and the C.A.R.E. Ministry that stands for Connecting and Reaching Everyone. Robert has served as host for various entertainment events including a Christian concert entitled, “Hip Hop Impression,” that featured recording artists; Da’Truth, VERBS, and the team of Charles and Taylor. In 2005, he hosted a radio show on WAEC – Love 860 AM that focused on Christian Rap, Urban and Contemporary Christian music.
Presently, He is currently a student at Beulah Heights University seeking a B.A. in Biblical Education in order to teach the Bible with an emphasis in church history, apologetics, eschatology, hermeneutics, exegesis, and systematic theology. Robert’s preeminent objective is to reach teens and young adults by creating an atmosphere where the truth about Christian life can be discussed and strategically applied in our complex society.
